During the official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman had audience with Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
Groysman said that Ukraine and Sweden were historically interconnected as these countries did not only have the common past but would also have the common future within the united European family.
Groysman informed about internal political situation in Ukraine and the course of reforms, as well as about current external challenges.
The visit of the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada was the first official visit of the Ukrainian Parliament Speaker to the Kingdom of Sweden over the years of the Ukrainian independence.
